Handheld 1D-2D Scanners

We offer a wide range of high-performance hand-held, 1D and 2D hands-free scanners that help many of the world’s leading retailers to minimize shopper’s checkout time. The L-51X from Opticon shown right is a pistol-grip designed cabled scanner with a very advanced 2D imager that scans at a speed of 100 fps. It’s design makes it possible to add your own image or logo to the top of the scanner and expand your brand visibility or presence. This addition is truly unique and as far as we are aware only Opticon offers this option.

Scanner/Scales

The Magellan 9800i, In-Counter/On-Counter Scanners/Scale offers state-of-the-art imaging with high reliability designed to provide maximum throughput for both 1D and 2D bar codes. This scanner is the world’s first grocery checkout bar code scanner driven completely by high performance digital imaging. It’s striking design improves ergonomics with its lower bonnet height allowing improved placement of POS or Self-Checkout touchscreens, payment terminals and receipt printers. The centered speaker provides audio feedback with customizable WAV files for greater fidelity. The large horizontal window is ergonomically positioned for both standing and seated cashiers.

Presentation Scanners

The Opticon M-10 is an omni-directional presentation scanner with a high performance 2D CMOS Imager. It’s well thought out ergonomic design allows the scanner to be used comfortably in the hand or traditionally on a desk with its adjustable stand.
