Cherry

CHERRY Electrical Products, founded in 1953, was the subject of an acquisition by The ZF Group in 2008. The well known CHERRY brand continues to thrive under the umbrella of ZF Friedrichshafen AG and in 2013 produced more than 250 million microswitches alone. The product range has been systematically expanding beyond microswitches and now includes sensors, electronic controls, and touch controls based on infra-red technology.

CHERRY is also a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of computer keyboards, mice, magnetic and chip card readers.

Quality is a process throughout the entire Company. ZF holds certifications for each of its plants and has won numerous quality awards from its customers. We are committed to meeting the highest standards for quality assurance not only in our products, but also in our processes. Our primary objective is to achieve zero defects in every aspect of our activities.

All keyboard series manufactured after July 1, 2006 comply with the RoHS 2 Directive 2011/65/EU. Since we may continue to stock some non-RoHS inventory for non-EU countries, please call (800) 510-1689 for specific compliance information on individual keyboard part numbers
